Women who are active in supporting research are an important focal point for the Equality and Diversity Office.
Women make up a majority of the JGU’s non-academic personnel, with more women working part-time positions than men. This tendency leads not only to a lower salary, but also to lower promotional chances and less job security for women.
The Equality and Diversity Office offers advising on all sorts of questions regarding career advancement and conflict situations (link in German). Female employees can take advantage of individual career coaching, and Human Resources Development has specific offers for female employees on questions of combining career and family.
